The facts about Ratchet & Clank


Ratchet and Clank are two of the most critically acclaimed gaming teams of the 21st Century, alongside rival games Jak and Daxter.

Booming into the single-player platform game realm in 2002, game company Insomniac brought us an incompetent mechanic and his secondary robot, all of which belong to the faculty genre.

Sony Computer Entertainment America and Insomniac are the ones who thank them for their enjoyable gaming hours.

Released on PlayStation 2, Ratchet and Clank remained there until two spinoffs (Secret Agent Clank and Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters) were included in PlayStation Portable (known as PSP).

Ratchet & Clank 1

Ratchet and Clank appeared in their debut game, titled Ratchet & Clank.

During this adventure, Ratchet, a Lombax mechanic finds a defeated robot on his home planet Veldin.

He named him Clank, and learned that he was a 'malfunctioned' robot that got off his assembly line.

Clank revealed that Blarg's President Drek is planning to build a new planet to live on, but must definitely destroy other planets he doesn't care about.

Clank believes that only the superhero Captain Qwark can save them, and the two set out to find him, while simultaneously saving the world.

Lock and load

Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded continues at the end of the first game, with the hero pair becoming celebrities.

They are kidnapped by Abercrombie Fizzwidget, owner and creator of Megacorp for a test object, which later turns out to be a deadly pet.

Fizzwidget, the disgraced hero of Captain Qwark in disguise, planned to release 'Protopet' as it was known, and save the world from its destruction, making him a hero once again.

Up your Arsenal

In Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal, Ratchet's home planet Veldin is under attack from a new villain;

Ratchet and Clank once again have to find the illusionist Captain Qwark, and together with him, help take down the mad robot, who plans to turn all citizens of the planets into robots, to destroy them all.

Other Ratchet & Clank Games

The game series continues to bloom with an arcade-style fighting game called Ratchet: Gladiator, in which Ratchet, Clank and their friend Al, are forced and forced to fight and complete the above challenges.

In order to buy his weapons, Ratchet must collect bolts, which is a form of currency.

The bolts are found scattered in locations and stored in breakable bins.
